Moritz Lehmann

Moritz holds a PhD from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada. With a background in oceanography, marine biology, computer science, mathematics and statistics he is an interdisciplinary aquatic scientist with over ten years of experience in research and consulting. Moritz’ research interests include the remote sensing of water quality in inland and coastal waters, dynamic ecosystem modelling and statistical methods for environmental monitoring and prediction. In his current work, Moritz takes a New Zealand-wide approach to map water quality of over 3800 lakes using satellite remote sensing.
