Kohji Muraoka

Ph D student
Kohji is a Ph D student who is studying lake hydrodynamics and ecology. Kohji has been working on analysis and software development of high frequency dataset acquired from scientific buoy measurements on various lakes in the world that contribute to Global Lake Ecological Observatory Network (GLEON). His interest extends to visualisations of high frequency dataset as well as three dimensional model results. He is also involved in a numerical 3D modelling of Lake Rotoiti hydrology to determine water quality changes due to the water control scheme changes to Ohau Channel and Okere flood gates.
